Ordergroove comes with everything you need to start selling subscriptions out of the box. For additional flexibility, we offer additional services to serve the needs of a wider variety of program requirements.

All Plus features should be discussed during scoping and kickoff calls. If added later, these features can add additional scope and timeline. For standard included features, take a look at the Ordergroove Service and Feature Glossary.

 


Advanced Promotions

Note: Stacking advanced promotion types will complicate onboarding, and the scope of project. They're not intended to be pick and choose, and not all types are compatible with each other. If you're considering multiple advanced promotions, please reach out.

Gift with Purchase

Ordergroove can add a single unit of any product as a free line item when placing recurring orders. Ordergroove will automatically price these as $0 items when placing orders. Gifts are not included in Ordergroove reporting.

Nth Order Promotion (retention rewards) A different discount can be applied based on order count for the subscription item. For example, 10% can be offered on all subscription orders, and increase to 20% on the fourth order, or on every fourth order, of each item. Discounts are typically applied based on counts for the subscription item, not for the customer overall.
Product-Specific Incentives Assign different discounts to specific products or categories on recurring subscription orders.
Subscribe More Save More

Offer increasing discounts based on the number of active subscriptions a customer has. This discount applies even if some subscription items are not in the current order, and does not consider the quantity of items in each individual subscription.

Buy More Save More

Offer increasing discount based on the number of units in the current order.


Subscription Functionality and Settings

Description

# of Retry Adjustments

Generic error responses (error code 999) are retried up to 2 additional times at the next order placement hours configured for generic errors.

Credit card declines are retried up to 2 additional times, spaced out with 2 days between each attempt.

The number of retries for each decline type can be adjusted by Ordergroove.

Space Out Credit Card Retries By default, credit card declines are retried 2 days apart. Ordergroove can change the number of days between each attempt.
Default Order Reminder Email Timing By default, order reminder emails are sent to customers 4 days prior to a scheduled order. Ordergroove can adjust the number of days prior to an order, or send the same order reminder email twice on multiple days.
Enable or Disable Specific Email Types

Ordergroove can configure the specific email event types your brand wishes to use.

Note: Many Countries and US states legally require customers to receive the Order Reminder email notification. Please consult your legal team or counsel for your local disclosure requirements.

Email Service Provider (ESP) Integrations

Description

Klaviyo ESP Ordergroove can trigger emails for all event types for Klaviyo to send transactional emails to the customers. Merchants are responsible for building email content in Klaviyo in line with Ordergroove dynamic field specifications.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) ESP

Ordergroove can trigger emails for all event types for Salesforce Marketing Cloud to send transactional emails to customers. Merchants are responsible for building email content in SFMC in line with Ordergroove dynamic field specifications.

No additional data is exchanged between Ordergroove and SFMC outside of email API payloads.
