Install Klaviyo
Our integration is easy to install from our integration page. Hit the enable button, log in to Klaviyo, and you’re good to go.
- Open up your Ordergroove Admin.
- Highlight Settings on the top toolbar and click Integrations.
- Locate Klaviyo and click Enable to the right.
- Enable will prompt you to log in to Klaviyo (if you aren’t already)
- If you have more than 1 Klaviyo account, you’ll be asked to select the one you want to connect
- Authorize the Ordergroove app to access your Klaviyo content, hit Allow.
- You’ll be redirected to Ordergroove and you’ll see the integration enabled successfully

FAQ
Can email transactional flows be copied and turned into SMS flows, or vice versa?
Yes, there are two ways to change the messaging in a flow:
- Clone the flow, add the new messages, and delete the old ones.
- Incorporate the second type of messaging into the existing flow. Klaviyo has a great article on combining SMS and Email into one flow.
Why don’t I see all of my subscribers in Klaviyo?
Ordergroove keeps subscriber status up to date, but doesn’t do a historical backfill upon setup. How to backfill subscriber status in Klaviyo has additional information and all the steps to get you up and running.
Can I include suggested replacement products in an Out of Stock email?
Yes, you could use a product block in your email messages to suggest replacement products. Note: These require conditional logic and are outside of the scope of Ordergroove support. Take a look at Dynamic Variables in Klaviyo’s help center for more information.
When does the order process if a customer reactivates?
When a customer reactives a subscription, the next order is queued for today + the frequency. Ex: if a customer is on a monthly subscription and reactivates September 2nd, their next order is queued up for October 2nd.
Are email and SMS messages set up the same way?
Yes, the process is the same: you create a new flow, add an audience, and add your messaging. Take a look at Klaviyo Recipebook for more information and popular flows.
What types of products do you recommend offering for 1-click upsell?
Our merchants have seen the best success upselling best sellers, seasonal (limited-time) items, or new releases.
Can I redirect 1-click actions to a custom URL?
Yes, you can redirect 1-click actions to any URL on your website as long as it has Ordergroove javascript. You can also build out a custom experience using our API’s. Take a look at Adding 1-Click Actions to Your Store for more information.
Can I include multiple products in 1-Click upsell?
Yes, multiple 1-click upsells will all work. There is one limitation, you can use the same url for product A + B, but you can’t do product A twice. If a customer wanted multiple of Product A in an upcoming shipment, they’d have to go through checkout or the Subscription Manager.
