The Customers page overhaul brings a redesigned interface along with a set of new capabilities and improvements to the Customers page, while keeping the processes your team already relies on.
This is a ground-up interface redesign: faster to navigate, easier to scan, with several capabilities the old page never had and a long list of fixes for the things your team has been working around.
What’s New
- Fully redesigned UI — A full visual refresh makes the page faster to scan and navigate, with cleaner dialogs and tables that now handle long product names and values gracefully.
- SKU Swap — Change the SKU on an active subscription without canceling and re-creating it. Prepaid subscriptions are supported as well.
- Digital subscription support — The Customers page now supports digital subscriptions.
- Customer list on the homepage — The Customers page opens with a list of customers instead of an empty search box, so you can get oriented without knowing exactly who you're looking for.
- Customer preview in search — Search results surface key details, including whether a customer has active or inactive subscriptions, before you open a profile.
Other Improvements and Fixes
- Editable subscription extra data — Update a subscription's extra data directly from the Customers page (requires Ordergroove to enable separately; reach out to get started.)
- Faster, more reliable navigation — The Customers page now loads natively in your Ordergroove admin instead of within an embedded frame, removing the slowness and navigation issues of the previous version.
- Expired payment method validation — Adding an expired card is blocked at entry, sparing you a payment that fails at order placement.
- One-step price lock — Lock a subscription at its current price in a single step. Previously you had to switch to a different price before you could lock it.
- Paginated tables — Subscriptions, orders, and recent activity now paginate, replacing the long scroll and "Show More" button.
- Cleaner subscription view — The subscriptions table shows only active subscriptions by default, hiding inactive ones that usually aren't relevant to the task at hand.
- Clearer required address fields — Required address fields are now marked with an asterisk based on your store's settings, so your team sees what's needed up front instead of encountering an error on save.
- Automatic saving — Changes take effect when you click out of a field, rather than requiring a separate Save action.
Rollout Timeline
| Date | What Happens |
| August 3, 2026 | We announce the change by email. Nothing moves in your admin yet, but the new page is available to preview using the link below. |
| August 10, 2026 | The new page replaces the current one at Data > Customers. The previous version is still one click away, with the See Previous Version button at the top of the page. |
| September 7, 2026 | The See Previous Version button is removed, and the new Customers page becomes the only version. |
The new Customers page has full feature parity with the legacy page. Anything your team does today, they can still do.
What to Tell Your Support Team
Nothing your team does today goes away, and the new page should feel familiar within a few minutes. Three habits do change, though, and they're worth a heads-up before anyone opens the page for the first time.
- There is no save button to modify active subscriptions - Changes to active subscriptions like quantity and recurring discount commit when you click out of a field. Agents used to typing, reviewing, and then saving should know that the edit is already live by the time they look back at it.
- Inactive subscriptions are moved to a new tab - If an agent can't find a subscription they expect to see, it's most likely inactive and filtered out rather than missing.
- Long lists are paginated - Subscriptions, orders, and recent activity now run across pages instead of one long scroll, so "it's not there" may mean "it's on page two."
Preview New Customers Page Before the Rollout
You don't have to wait. The new page is already live in your admin — it just isn't in your menu bar yet. Go straight to it here:
Have a look around, walk your support team through it, and tell us what you think before it becomes the default.
⚠️ This Is Your Live Admin
The new Customer Page is not a sandbox. Any change you make here is a real change to a real subscriber, and will take effect immediately. Use a test customer or your own account rather than a live subscriber's record.
FAQ

Do our user permissions change?
No. Your existing roles and permissions apply to the new page exactly as they do today.
