How to Migrate Ordergroove to Online Store 2.0

Ordergroove is adding support for Online Store 2.0 and will support app blocks and other Online Store 2.0 features. Ordergroove’s future upgrades will be built with Online Store 2.0 in mind. Follow Shopify’s documentation here to convert your theme to accept Online Store 2.0 features. We suggest that you test these changes on a duplicated theme before going live. 

To automatically remove the original Ordergroove code, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Ordergroove Shopify app.

2. Open the Advanced Shopify Settings page. The location of this page may differ:

   • Option A: Click the gear icon in the bottom left corner to open the settings page.
   • Option B: From the top menu go to Settings > Shopify Integration. At the bottom of the page click "Advanced Shopify integration settings can be found on Shopify's Settings page"
3. Scroll down to theme set up, and select the theme you want to remove the original liquid snippets from. Press “Remove liquid partials.”  The process will take around a minute.

After you have removed our liquid partials, take the time to convert your theme into an Online Store 2.0 theme using Shopify's documentation.

1. Go to the Ordergroove Shopify app.

2. Open the Advanced Shopify Settings page. The location of this page may differ:

   • Option A: Click the gear icon in the bottom left corner to open the settings page.
   • Option B: From the top menu go to Settings > Shopify Integration. At the bottom of the page click "Advanced Shopify integration settings can be found on Shopify's Settings page"
   
   
3. Scroll to theme setup and select your Online Store 2.0 theme.
4. Press "Add latest liquid partials" to add the Ordergroove Online Store 2.0 blocks.
5. The successful injection messaging will say that you have added online store 2.0 blocks to your theme.
