Q: What happens when I discontinue a product?
Discontinuing a product will cancel all subscriptions associated with that product. When a subscription is canceled due to discontinuation, Ordergroove triggers an email notification to all subscribers of the product, so use caution when marking a product as discontinued!
Q: How do I discontinue a product?
In order for a product to be discontinued, it must first be marked ineligible for subscription and out-of-stock. Then, if you have a discontinued flag in your product feed CSV, just set its value to TRUE.
Q: How do I know if the Product Feed ingested successfully?
Ordergroove maintains a monitoring application that will alert us if a product feed hasn’t been received or ingested within a certain time boundary. We are happy to share this logging information with you upon request.
Q: How can I check to see if a product is in stock in Ordergroove’s database?
Assuming there is no issue with ingestion, any product marked as in-stock in your product feed should propagate to Ordergroove’s database with the same status. You can download a .CSV of the latest product data in Ordergroove’s database in the Product Tools section of Ordergroove.
