Subscription bundles combine multiple products into one single, recurring subscription package. They can be customized based on your customer's individual preferences, providing a personalized and convenient shopping experience.
Note: Bundles are powered by Ordergroove's Bundles Framework, and require a developer or technical resource to implement. See Getting Started for more information.
Types of Bundles
While we use the term bundle as a catch-all, there are four specific types of bundles we've seen succeed on Ordergroove:
- Fixed Kits: A non-changing bundle selected by the merchant.
- Build Your Own Box: Your customer selects a combination of items.
- Rotating Clubs: A subscription that changes contents each month, sometimes more often, curated by the merchant.
- Virtual Bundles: A collection of subscription items that appear to be one item to your customers, but are actually managed as a series of individual items
Bundle Benefits
Boost Subscriber LTV
More products means more opportunities to raise subscriber LTV. If subscribers are limited to only one product per purchase, there's only so much growth potential. When your customers subscribe to multiple items at once, it raises the average order value immediately, and boosts their LTV in the long run.
Personalized Experiences
Bundles offer enhanced value, personalization, and a better overall experience for your customers. By providing a variety of products at a lower price, curating personalized selections, and reducing decision fatigue, bundles keep subscribers engaged and spending more, and ultimately reducing churn.
Customer Retention
Build your own bundles give subscribers peak personalization by letting them choose the exact combination of products they want, preventing subscription fatigue and prolonging retention.
