Upgrading to New Offers

Upgrading to Ordergroove’s latest offer functionality gives you complete control over the front-end customer enrollment experience, without having to submit a help ticket. You’ll have the option to use either the basic or advanced styling tool depending on your needs and technical experience from within the Ordergroove platform.

Before you begin

You must be on V2 of the Subscription Enrollment experience before you can modify the Offers within Ordergroove. If you’re not sure which version you are currently on, login to Ordergroove and navigate to the Subscription Enrollment tab. If the page loads an error message, you're still on Ordergroove’s legacy Offer enrollment experience.

Once you’ve confirmed you're on the legacy version and ready to upgrade, contact your success representative so they can help schedule the internal updates required by Ordergroove, as well as align with you on timing.

Your technical team/partner will be needed to make the required changes to the page tagging, and any updates required to the data received after checkout when the subscription is created.

The Process

  1. Notify Ordergroove Support or your Success representative that you intend to upgrade to new offers prior to starting any work.
  2. We'll schedule a call to establish the Offer and Purchase Post (subscription creation) changes that need to be made specific to your environment is necessary in most cases and should be scheduled ahead of time with your success representative.
  3. Before any work can begin by your development team, Ordergroove will need to point the static server to the new offers on the front end, as well as update the Ordergroove portal.
  4. Once both updates are complete, you can then proceed to add the new page tagging, and styling changes to the default offer widget can be made.

Troubleshooting and Common Questions

  • Confirm you have followed all of the steps outlined above to remove the legacy page tagging and add the new page tagging.
  • If you’re still unable to see the new Offer contact Ordergroove support.

“I don’t see the offer widget on any page anywhere.”

  • Confirm you have followed all of the steps outlined above to remove the legacy page tagging and add the new page tagging.
